Amsterdam Dance Event has revealed the first wave of artists for ADE 2023.

The five-day event, which will run from 18th-22nd October, is the world’s largest festival and conference program for electronic music, and will feature over 2,500 artists and 600 speakers in almost 200 venues across the Dutch capital.

ADE 2023 will represent a broad selection of subcultures and subgenres within electronic music, alongside a dedicated conference, arts & culture programme, and a stellar selection of international electronic artists to soundtrack the five-day event. Organisers promise that the 2023 edition will be “bolder, spicier, and larger than ever – with the festival experience upgraded for all.”

Among the first artists to be announced are Belfast titans Bicep, recent DJ mag cover stars Amelie Lens and Jayda G, and British downtempo star, Bonobo – whose five-night residency at the Royal Albert Hall was recently filmed in collaboration with DJ Mag.

The bill also features a huge cast of international names including Folamour, Purple Disco Machine, Blawan, Helena Hauff, DJ Stingray 313, SPFDJ, James Hype, LSDXOXO, Ewan McVicar, and The Martinez Brothers. Chris Stussy, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Job Jobse, Alberta Balsam, Bella, Carlos Valdes, and DIØN are among those representing local Dutch talent.

ADE has also announced the addition of audio-visual and musical performances across its conference programme, including London-based producer Max Cooper who will be hosting an immersive masterclass and A/V show exploring the intersection of music, science, and art. Alongside it will be an exclusive edition of Secret Artists in Residence for a collaborative jam session at ADE Pro’s events hub, Felix Meritis.

The full ADE music and conference programme is set to be announced in the coming months.

Individual tickets can be found here, while the ADE pro pass can be found here.
