Anz has released a new single, ‘Clearly Rushing’, via Hessle Audio. Listen to the track below.

Described as combining a “pumping breakbeat and heady risers for maximum dancefloor impact”,  the track marks the Manchester-based DJ and producer’s return to the label after three years. It has become a staple in both her and the Hessle Audio crew’s recent DJ sets, and follows other recent high-profile releases on the imprint from co-founders Pangaea and Pearson Sound, Shanti Celeste and Toumba.

Speaking about the release in a post on Instagram, Anz shared: “After almost 2 years of rigorous road testing, misnamed youtube rips and ID request pressure, Clearly Rushing is out today on Hessle Audio.”

Anz debuted on the influential imprint in 2020 with her third EP, ‘Loos In Twos (NRG)’. Along with its landmark predecessor, ‘Invitation to Dance’ and her infamous ‘Spring/Summer Dubs’ mixtapes, the project helped to bolster the London-born artist’s early career, and earn her DJ Mag’s 2020 Breakthrough DJ award.

The following year, Anz launched her own imprint, OTMI – short for “Otras Mitades”, the Spanish for “other halves”. She also made her Ninja Tune debut in 2021 with the ‘All Hours’ EP, rooted in the broken club sounds of Britain and the US, and featuring London vocalist, George Riley.
