Their original P17 and P15 earbuds first launched in 2021

Bowers & Wilkins have unveiled new versions of their high-resolution wireless earbuds, the P17 S2 and P15 S2.

The new and improved models of the noise-cancelling earbuds offer longer battery life. Both buds now last up to five hours, with the charging case for the P17 S2 providing an additional 16 hours of battery life and the PI5 S2’s case providing 19 hours. They also have double the Bluetooth range, which now goes up to 25 metres.

The PI7 S2 has an additional built-in microphone in each earbud (equalling three mics in total) and adaptive noise cancellation. According to Bowers & Wilkins, the two-way drive units in each earbud work "just like high-performance speakers", while the Smartcase functions "as an audio retransmission system, connecting directly to external audio sources such as in-flight entertainment systems" (when Bluetooth isn't available).

The PI7 S2 is priced at £349 and is available in Satin Black, Canvas White, and Midnight Blue, while the PI5 S2 is priced at £249 and available in Storm Grey, Spring Lilac or Cloud Grey. Pick up a pair via the Bowers & Wilkins site.

Earlier this month, we reported that Apple are allegedly working on a new affordable version of their popular AirPods. The "AirPods Lite" have been described as a “lower priced product” to rival other affordable earbud manufacturers.
