Mella Dee's latest EP, 'Riptide', features a collaboration with New Order's Bernard Summer. Listen to the title track below.

Out now on Pete Tong's Three Six Zero Recordings, the EP also includes three new tracks in addition to the lead single with the Joy Division co-founder. There's 'Big Eff Off Groove' and 'Find Love Yourself', which gets a Deeper Love Mix. 'Riptide' is available on limited edition vinyl and digital platforms.

"It was originally written in a time when we weren't able to celebrate life together, it was a release from the pressure of everything around us," Mella Dee said. "Bernard wrote and recorded the vocals after hearing what I'd put together and managed to bring a new life to the record. Adding a deeper meaning which resonated with me, the feeling of being caught up in a riptide with the world still moving around you."

Check out the EP on Bandcamp, and listen to 'Riptide' below.

Elsewhere, Mella Dee is set to play UK's KALLIDA festival in August, and earlier this month, New Order marked the 40th anniversary of their iconic track 'Blue Monday' with a new merch drop.
