Warehouse Project announces full line-up for opening four 2023 parties

The WHP23 series will launch with an opening show featuring Bicep, TSHA (Live), and Jayda G

Warehouse Project has announced the line-up for its 2023 opening parties.

The Manchester event series, which takes place at the city’s 10,000-capacity Depot venue, will launch on Saturday 16th September with day-and-night party, Repercussion, followed by three more parties throughout the month.

Running from 3pm until 4am, the opening night will see Bicep debut their new Chroma (Audio/visual DJ Set) show, while Moderat will return to Manchester for their first live show in the city since 2016. Kerri Chandler will also be bringing his Reel-To-Reel set-up to the city for the very first time, alongside sets from Jon Hopkins, TSHA (Live), Joy Orbison, Eliza Rose, Jyoty, salute & Yung Singh, recent DJ Mag cover star Jayda G, and more.

The following week (23rd September) will see the largest drum & bass event ever at The Warehouse project, with over 100 d&b artists including Hybrid Minds, Wilkinson, DJ Storm b2b DJ Flight, Hedex and Bou, alongside a 30 Years Of V Recordings celebration with Bryan Gee b2b Jumpin Jack Frost. MCs will include Chickaboo, Fox, Inja and more.

Manchester-based imprint Kaluki will be returning for a birthday show and label showcase on 29th September, with Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Hot Since 82, Solardo, Chris Stussy leading proceedings, alongside sets from the likes of Mason Maynard b2b Calvin Clarke, Fleur Shore, and Ammo Avenue b2b Nicolas Caprile on the Archive stage.

For the final event of the opening series, taking place on Saturday 30th September, Welcome to the Warehouse will return for a six-stage takeover featuring the likes of Honey Dijon, The Blessed Madonna, Mall Grab, Job Jobse, SHERELLE, I. JORDAN, Kilimanjaro, Saoirse, and more.

Speaking on the WHP23 announcement, Sam Kandel, Co-Founder of The Warehouse Project has said: “Before last year’s WHP run ended, we had already started on our plans for 2023. Now we can’t wait to get back into Depot Mayfield, where we are making significant production changes for this year, all to be revealed when we kick off in September.”
