Yamaha has announced a new line of electric pianos, the CK range.

The battery-powered keyboards combine elements of the Yamaha CP Stage Piano and the YC Stage Keyboard, and are equipped with various on-board sounds including pianos, electric pianos, synths, strings, brass, and organs, as well as 51 effects like filters, envelopes, delay, and reverb.

Designed with portability in mind, they ship with built-in speakers, customisable "intuitive controls" (which can be colour coded) and a Bluetooth audio input.

The CK range is available in a fully weighted 88-key model (the CK88, which weighs 13.1kg) and a smaller lightweight 61-key version (the CK61, which weighs 5.6kg).

The Yamaha CK range is due to launch next month. The CK88 is priced at $1,499 (£1,567) while the CK61 is $999. Find out more via the Yamaha site and watch an overview of the new range below.
