Welp, it was only a matter of time before another childhood icon would turn out to be some serial killer. Reports of a very much indie horror flick centering around Winnie the Pooh, Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey, is heading our way.
DreadCentral links to an IMDB page for Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey, a film centered around everyone’s favorite bear and best friend Piglet as they go on a rampage after Christopher Robin abandons them. Written and directed by newcomer Rhys Frake-Waterfield, the film stars Craig David Dowsett, Chris Cordell, and Maria Taylor.
This very much indie horror film will no doubt be subject to people questioning how this is even possible without Disney coming out and throwing legal hands, but it actually as Winnie the Pooh went public domain earlier this year.
The more intricate story, which they call a retelling of the Winnie the Pooh “legend,” is still under wraps and so is its release.
